Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype has arrived - IGN Score 8.5

Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype has just been released yesterday, those of you who were dying to try the game must have already downloaded it off the PlayStation3 network. And one of these impatient gamers happened to be an IGN editor. He gave the game a score of 8.5 and this is one of his compliments "Perhaps the most notable aspect of Soldner-X 2 is that it's gorgeous." [See the whole IGN review here]

Take a look at the gameplay footage and see what he means.

Shoot'em ups are about excitement, exhilaration and adrenaline. While some of the 2D shooters in the arcades have punishing difficulty settings, Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype provides you with a smoother learning curve. With a dynamic play rank system, both beginners and veteran shooters can enjoy the fun of raining bullets over opponents.

Move through the ranks, from beginners to the veteran and get more scores. The higher ranks you move to, the greater the score multipliers, so the more challenges you take, the more rewards.

Beside scores, you can unlock stages and win trophies, ships and other goodies as you play through the game. There are all sorts of challenges modes that will test your reflexes and skills. Are you ready to take them.

Let's have a look at what you'll be up against:
