A lot of PS3 owners envy the cross-game chat available on Xbox Live. Many thought the feature would be included on the PS3 once the PlayStation Plus service became available. But the PlayStation Plus service launch has passed and no cross-game chat function was revealed to many online gamers dismay. PlayStation Plus subscribers want this heavily requested feature to be implemented in the service.So we have another Q&A response, posted on the PlayStation blog as follows:"We are constantly working on new services and features to enhance your PlayStation experience; however, Cross-Game Chat was not announced as a part of PlayStation Plus’ features. We know that Cross-Game Chat is a functionality our fans are extremely interested in and we are always striving to improve the PlayStation Network experience and services."
Sounds like there is either an issue that needs to be worked out or cross-game chat is not possible on the PS3. I'm sure they've tried to start implementing it after all this time, but if looks like we won't be seeing it for a while yet.
